A 2800 m2 oasis of peace in the small town La Zarzuela on the Costa de la Luz. The historic main building forms the heart of our community, the rooms accommodate the soul and our beautiful garden embodies the spirit surrounding it all.
You can feel that Finca la Palmera is a project close to the heart. This is the right place if you are interested in ecologically sustainable community life. It gives you the space you need to focus on business and work projects. And of course the sweet four-legged friend Milo is the ideal bonus! :) I will be back soon!

The true essence of Finca la Palmera unfolds in our enchanting garden—a paradise where 10 palm trees, numerous fruit trees, and a myriad of bushes and flowers create a colourful retreat.
Discover various furnished, covered, and open-air terraces where you can enjoy the sun, while being surrounded by lush vegetation, the cent of flowers and birds singing.
CONNECT WITH NATURE
In our vegetable patch, we embrace the principles of permaculture, connecting with the seasons and joyfully witnessing the growth of our food.
Thanks to the perpetual mild climate, our surroundings remain green and adorned with blossoms throughout the year
RELAX & UNWIND
A highlight of our oasis is the yoga deck nestled among four pine trees, complete with inviting hammocks. Whether you're beginning your day with meditation, stretching out after work, or indulging in a Spanish-style siesta, this is the perfect spot.
I cannot remember the last time that I was able to rest and recover so much. I just enjoyed being in the Finca; working online, spending time on the yoga platform reading or just lying and observing the wind in the trees, taking evening walks on the beach and swim in the ocean and enjoying wonderful company. For sure a true healing place!

The main house is an over 200 year old building that is now hosting the communal areas:
The fully equipped kitchen is the social center, where everyone at some point during the day meets to cook a meal, make coffe and have a little chat.
The living/dining room is the cool and shady place to be during hot summer days and the fire place converts it into a cozy place in winter.
The moroccan style chill-out room with a projector for movie nights, board games and a library is the place to retreat to in the evenings.
This place is excellent for many, many reasons. Most importantly, it’s a very homely place. This is due to the care taken by the host to create lovely spaces, rooms and a genuine community. There is plenty of room for remote working and privacy if you’re busy. Fabulous beaches nearby. Would definitely book again, no question.

This is why all of our 6 rooms are private rooms, each with their own entrance directly from the garden and an ensuite bathroom.
Embracing individuality, each room boasts unique decor and charm, featuring lovingly restored 2nd hand furniture, upcycled rugs and throws, and handcrafted decor from local artists.

I spent a month at the Finca and had the most amazing experience. The property is stunning. Doing yoga on the deck beneath the pines was otherworldly and driving 7 min to one of the best beaches in Europe can't be beat. The set up is so perfect for a combination of community and privacy. Meeting new friends, sharing meals and late-night chats. Highly, highly recommended.
